No matter how much progress we have made on our spiritual journey, it seems we frequently find ourselves in a space cluttered with uncertainty, anxiety and even fear.  The more we try to ignore these emotions, the more we tend to drive them deeper into our bodies.  This refusal to live in the moment, to experience life and not judge it, can derail or health, our finances and our dreams.  We forget that we hold onto our emotions, our emotions do not hold onto us.    Each moment presents an opportunity to releases these emotions, and when we release them, they have no choice but to dissipate.
We have been hypnotized by society to bear the pain in our bodies rather than to authentically experience our emotions.
Embracing Your Emotions

Experiencing and releasing our emotions is easier than we think.  An extremely easy and popular technique is to start by locating the discomfort or pain in your body.  Once you have located the place of discomfort begin by placing your hand in that area and asking “what have you come to reveal to me; what memory is behind this experience?”

Write down what you are feeling and be as detailed as you can.  It will also help for you to record your feelings in as many perspectives as possible.   Now place your hand on the area of discomfort and breathe in with the intention or releasing the discomfort or pain.   Hold this intention for approximately 2 minutes.
If you are experiencing pain in multiple places in your body repeat these steps until you have acknowledged every place your body that is experiencing pain or discomfort.
After this process is completed, forgive any revelations that need to be forgiven.
The more you are able to listen to your body the better you are able to stay in the moment and experience the emotion. Experiencing the emotion will provide you with valuable insight into what you need to forgive or what you need to release.
Cellular Memories

Another value healing technique is a technique used to heal Cellular Memories.  Scientist as beginning to suspect what alternative, naturopathic doctors have always known; our internal organs as strongly affected by emotions and specific emotions affect specific organs.
The Energy Medicine Tool, By Dr. Alexander Lloyd, from The Love Code: The Secret Principle to Achieving Success in Life, Love, and Happiness, is incredibly easy to use.  Below is a summarized version.  For more detailed information visit http://www.booksforbetterliving.com/energy-medicine-tool/
Position 1: The Heart
In the first position, you place one hand (either left or right), palm down, on your upper chest (over your heart), and place your other hand, also palm down, over the first. You can either rest your hands in this position and hold for one to three minutes, or you can move your hands gently in a circular motion (clockwise or counterclockwise, whatever is most natural), switching directions every 15 seconds or so, for one to three minutes.
Position 2: The Forehead
In the second position, you place one hand (either left or right) over your forehead, with your little finger just beneath your eyebrows (just barely grazing the bridge of the nose), and your other hand on top of that hand, both with palms down.
Position 3: Top of the Head
For the third position, place one hand (either left or right) on the top of your head, or your crown, and your other hand on top of that hand, both with palms down.
When you apply energy to these three areas—the heart, the forehead, and the top of the head—you’re physically increasing blood flow and functionality to the control centers for every cell, every thought, every emotion and every belief, as well as to your heart, third eye and crown chakras, the three most powerful cellular memory energy centers in the body.

To live our dreams we are required to fully experience life and embrace every event and opportunity as growth.  In your toolbox, be sure to carry extra helpings of acceptance, forgiveness, and love.
Gena Showalter says “Mom; you don’t just embrace your emotions, you make love to them.”
