The month of December has a special meaning in the hearts of Christians around the world.  And as I write, the lyrics of a popular Christmas carol rises from within to remind me of the season.  “O Holy Night, the stars are brightly shining, it is the night of our dear savior’s birth.”  “O night divine, o night when Christ was born.”
Each year we frantically prepare for the celebration of the birth of Jesus.  We expend a great amount of energy buying gifts, decorating our homes and planning meals.  We spend less and less time actually exploring the true meaning of the season.  As we exchange gifts with friends, co-workers and family members, we are lulled into a false belief that we have celebrated the birth of Christ and cleansed our souls.  This ritual is then quickly followed by empty promises to rid our lives of anything, unlike God.  We then overstuff our stomach, fall asleep and continue with our current lifestyles.  We never get back around to asking “how do I make this night and the nights to follow divine?”
What if we started to believe that “Christ” is born every night?  How would our lives change? Would we take different actions?  Would the quality of our thoughts improve?
Imagine that “Christ” is alive, living inside of you and hears all of your thoughts, your sacred inner conversations.  What would you change immediately?

To make every night a Holy Night, at the close of each day, recall the events of the day and keep a record of the incidents, thoughts, and conversations that were negative.  Jesus’ promise of a more abundant life was intended to be experienced by all.  The creative tools we were given to manifest an abundant life are found in our thought, imagination, attention, focus, and belief.  Before you speak or act take a few seconds to determine the action that will keep you in alignment with the Creator.  To determine what you truly believe, take a critical look at your life.  Do you frequently experience lack and limitation?  If so, daily make a conscious effort to replace these beliefs by working with your imagination and focus.  Spend more time thinking about what it would feel like to have the life you truly desire and deserve.  Using these tools to remain focused on what we would like to experience will ensure our lives are always a testament to the goodness of our Creator.   Remember, life is too short to drink cheap champagne.
Dream Big.  Life the life you have imagined.  Life is too short to drink cheap champagne.

"Do not go gentle into that good night, find a hill worth dying for and take it &
Be the person you're waiting for. Make today so awesome, that yesterday gets jealous
and above all else do it Your way."
