Several years ago, Dr. Spencer Johnson wrote the book Who Moved My Cheese?  In the book, four characters lived in a maze and every day they were able to find the cheese required for their existence within the maze.  One day they discovered there was no more cheese.  To the mice, the cheese was a source of nourishment and stability.  One of the mice found it difficult to accept this change and remained stuck, without cheese.  When a change occurs, we all receive the same repetitive encouragement.  When one door closes, another door opens.  But while we wait for the other door to open, “it feels like hell in the hallway.”

We have all learned to set goals and to establish action plans for achieving our goals.  We get comfortable with our accomplishments, our family, our friends and our possessions.  We are so focused on our plan that we forget that change is the only constant in life. Heraclitus, the pre-Socractic Greek philosopher says, “No man ever steps into the same river twice”.  In the face of change, we often hold onto what we have lost instead of celebrating the blessings that are on the horizon.  Success is a journey; it is not a single event.

So what do you do while in the hallway?

Start with Forgiveness

Unforgiveness places an enormous physical burden your body.  In spite of this, most people find it hard to forgive because they define forgiveness as forgetting the offense occurred.  Forgiveness does not require you to forget or overlook the offense.  It only requires that you replace the negative feelings about the offense with positive feelings, thoughts, and behavior.  Scientific studies have proven that forgiveness reduces your stress levels and lengthens your life.  It improves your heart health and immune system.  Make sure the act of forgiveness also includes you.
I move beyond forgiveness to understanding and I have compassion and kindness for me and for all others.

Visualization is one of the fastest ways to manifest your inner desires; but you must be consistent.  Because of the power of visualization, it is important to decide what you want.  Start right now to use your power of visualization to create the life you want to live.  It is a fact that the brain works naturally with images, so make these images as vivid as possible by adding sound, color and smells.   Do not be afraid to visualize outside of your comfort zone.  Start with where you are and move to where you want to be.  Hold the image of the life you want to create until it feels real, which is the key that you have accepted this.  The positive vibrational energy created connects you to the Universal Higher Power which moves events and circumstances onto your path.  Remember to keep your conversations positive.  Make sure the 23 hours left in your day are in alignment with the hour spent in meditation and visualization.
“Any lack is a part of the past which I release this moment, opening my mind to prosperity now and in the future.”

Create A Roadmap.

Approximately 88% of all millionaires are self-made and 69% of all billionaires are self-made.  The difference between millionaires and non-millionaires are habits.  The Rockefeller kids were taught a specific pattern for dealing with their money.   Work for all you get; Give away the first 10% to tithe or charity; Pay yourself the next 10%; Live on the rest; Account for every penny.  Millionaires also set HUGE goals.  They know that 97% of those who set goals will achieve them.  How many of these habits are your habits?  Start today to build a bridge between visualization to reality by setting goals.  Set daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals.  Daily complete 5 things toward you vision.  With each goal, list action steps that you will take.
I have the power to achieve any goal I desire.
So when life gives you lemons, squeeze them, make highlighter and sell for $20.00 a bottle.
